Yes Passthru XS will work with several brands, but these may require some special modifications to enable passthru to work. so unless you can modify software or serial then its just a pass thru ,that works on loads of main dealer software Hi mate you were told this when you bought it that it was a us one that was only availiable to be used as passthru ,and it would not work with multidiag ,as thats what i bought it for but then tried the same and it does not accept serial number ,thats why it was sold as just a pass thru and cheap might i add ,they then informed me it was not compatible with multidiag as serial number not in database. The silly part is the only difference is the serial number internally it is identical to a UK interface I am awaiting their decision, they may exchange it for an interface that will work with MultiDiag software here in the UK They have confirmed that it is genuine but intended to be used only as a Pass Through device for the US market, MultiDiag is not sold in the US RapidShare: 1-CLICK Web hosting - Easy Filehosting ()Īs I was convinced that the Actia PassThru XS was genuine I have sent it to Actia UK Thanks for your help but serial number you sent doesn't work
